At Arte, the back-to-school season starts with a paradox: new garments that already seem to have lived.
For Autumn-Winter 2026, the Antwerp brand moves away from the flawless surface. The blues are faded, the colors irregular, the signs appear printed, erased or left as is. Time, normally the enemy of new clothing, becomes a tool for creation here.
The inspiration comes from African craft traditions and materials that carry their own history: oxidized metals, hand‑shaped objects, architectural details, surfaces transformed by use.
Arte does not take the forms literally. What interests it lies elsewhere: in the trace.
