Camper × Issey Miyake Anna: from the sole to the garment
Camper provides a sole. Issey Miyake provides a way to cover the body.
For their third joint shoe project, the two houses combine what they have long been good at: Camper, a sole architecture; Issey Miyake, a stretch knit upper that treats the foot as part of the garment. The result is called Anna. Autumn‑Winter 2026. At ADG Studio: the ankle boots, black and blue, €230.
What Miyake puts into a shoe
Issey Miyake names the theme of the collaboration: physicality. Not a seasonal slogan — a matter of shape. The TENCEL™ Lyocell upper wraps foot, ankle and calf like a second skin. It is knitted to follow the body, not to be added on top.
It is the same logic Miyake applies to clothing: a continuous material, a volume that hugs, little separation between what is worn and the silhouette. On Anna, this logic extends down to the ground.
What Camper grounds to the floor
The base comes from Anita, a Camper model: pointed sole, low heel, clean line. Camper talks about the first heel of the collaboration. Without this sculpted base, the knit would be just a sock. Without Miyake's knit, Anita would remain a classic shoe.
Anna sits in this gap: a Camper construction below, a Miyake thinking above.
